Food waste is as important now as ever with about a third of food becoming waste. Using existing services, food related and not, we made an app to empower the community to help give potentially wasted food a second life.

During this project, we found out that not many people knew about services that prevent fresh food becoming waste, such as what grocery stores use to sell fruit and vegetables with minor imperfections at a much-reduced price. Our goal was to harness the power of local communities and build an app to bring this food waste issue to light.
